South Dearborn Middle School would like to take this opportunity to thank Hogan Valley Fabrication, Ken Neyer Plumbing, Aurora EMS, Aurora Fire Department, Dearborn County Sheriff's Department, Dearborn County Water Rescue, Baylor Trucking, Happy Hills Child Care, Mike Powell Welding, McGraw Excavation, and Eagle Country 99.3 for participating in our Trucks-N-Trades Expo. As part of their Exploring College and Careers, students were able to explore equipment that is used in various trades throughout our area. Students were asked to reflect on their experiences today with an overwhelming majority agreeing that it was a worthwhile experience. Thanks again to our community partners for making this a successful day for our students.

Students in Mrs. Powell's 8th grade High School Health Class were certified in CPR, Heimlich Maneuver, and AED training for adults, children, and infants.

It's been a great week here at SDMS celebrating our teachers. Teacher Appreciation Week allows us to honor them for all their hard work and dedication to our students.
